Did i really mess this potenial realationship up already?

Well, i have recently went to my friends, friends house to help move. We went to dinner and a movie. during the movie i sat next to this girl that i really like, but we are still friends, she kept scooting closer and closer in her chair toward me, and i reallllly wanted to put my arm around her. but im not sure if it would of make a akward moment or not so i didnt, later that night i was texting her and i asked her what she thought about me and she likes me. and i asked if she kinda doubts me for not makeing a move in the theaters, she said yeah a little bit. she seemed understanding that i like to be sure of things b4 doing them. but could i get some other points of view please?
