Is Efferdent dental cleanser safe to use daily on a clear Hawley retainer?

I have a clear hawley retainer, so obviously I don't want it to turn nasty yellow. So far, efferdent has been keeping it clear. I was wondering if it is safe to use it daily? As in, it won't crack the plastic or anything? The Efferdent I am using is "Efferdent Anti-Bacterial Denture Cleanser" and on the side of the box it says that it "Works On" Retainers, Partials, and Dentures.
