Once you have completed all of the requirements to become a Officer, you will be commissioned as a 2nd LT. That means you have completed your College Education, OCS or ROTC, and all the other training. Once you are commissioned, you will be igned a branch (Combat Arms, Transportation, etc). Army Rangers is nothing more than a special group of Soldiers. Dont get me wrong, they are a elite group and not everyone will make it through the training. If you happen to complete the course, you will be labeled as a Ranger and get to wear a special tab on your uniform to identify you as Ranger qualifed. The rank structure does not change, if you are enlisted (Private, Specialist, Sergeant) or Officer (Lieutenant, Captain, Major) it stays the same. Lastly if you are writing a novel, a female can not be a Ranger at this time. They are looking to change the rules, but i think it is far away.

I Am having Transmission Problems with my 2000 Jeep Wrangler w/ an automatic?

I'm 16 and just got this jeep a couple of months ago. I love it and its a blast to drive but i have been having some problems with it. When im driving down the road, accelerating from a red light, my transmission seems to almost stick in what i think is second gear. When this happens, my car starts to slow down and the RPMs go way up to around 6 or 7. But after pressing on the gas more or letting go of the gas, it shifts into 3rd and its fine. This only happens when accelerating. I don't hear any grinding or clanks so i don't have a clue what is going on. Also, When ever i have my left turning signal on, and i touch the brake, the signal sticks and stays on until i let go of the brake. Its starting to get quite irritating, but it doesn't happen all the time. Oh and by the way, the Jeep aka (Joe), has almost 140,000 miles on him. Do you think that after that many miles my transmission is just getting old? I have checked all the fluids and everything is fine. I also checked under the hood to see if I could hear a vacuum hose that was broken/detached. I don't know what else to do besides take it to a mechanic

Torn ACL and Meniscus therapy at home?

I torn my ACL and my Meniscus September 19, 2007.I opted not to have the surgery because I wanted my knee to hea naturally without surgery. Those blue files are just representative of the files on your computer. To delete them, go through your computer and delete anything you don't need (do NOT go into the Windows folder). As far as Word and things, they don't affect your computer's performance and are important programs that most people will use at some point so you should keep it. Add and Remove programs is what I'm uming you mean. Just delete anything there that you don't use that doesn't have anything to do with your hardware or drivers or anything that says Microsoft. You would be best to have someone who is more computer literate than you are to sit with you to make sure you don't understand anything important.

Can a landlord legally evict you if you give them notice that your rent will be late?

My husband called our landlord's office and left a message a couple days before our rent was due to let them know that our rent would be in by the 20th of this month at the absolute latest. Well the way my house is set up there is a ledge where you can see the stairs going downstairs. sophie my kitten, likes to jump up there. How do I deal with careless parents?...?

Things are getting ridiculous in this household. I am a 16 year old teen (17 in about 3 months) but pretty much my parents are on the brink of not even caring anymore. I don't do drugs, I don't drink, I do well in school, I participate in sports, I do everything in a positive way, I get social freedom to leave the house... everything seems perfect however there's one major issue. The lack of parenting. There are days where I would be dropped off to school and I would ask my dad for lunch money and he would literally say "I don't care, I don't have any money, ask your friends." There would be days where there is nothing in the pantry and fridge yet my dad says "There's plenty to eat here." And because of this, all the money which my mom and dad demand me to save from my job is spent because I'm constantly forced to spend my money on food, drivers ed, all of that. Where does it all end? My father believes his job is accomplished, when we get in discussions he always says "I fed you for ten years"... but whenever I say back to him "The first ten years of my life shouldn't be when you stop feeding me" he just laughs at me and simply says "Oh really?" The situation is ever worsening because I've now spent about 40 in a week on food and other random fees that come up for drivers ed stuff which my parents should be responsible for. On top of that, whenever I try to explain my grievances in a calm, conductive manner, my father just cuts into my speaking shouting "I don't care", my mom could easily help out however she would rather not antagonize the situation. So I've been coming home every day really tired and I'll take anywhere between a 2 and 4 hour nap. Like tonight I slept 4 hours, but I had to get up and do some homework and take a shower. So, if I fall back asleep later that night and sleep another 4 hours until morning (so 8 hours of sleep in all) is that alright? Hi girls...im writing again..may be somebody could explain me whats wrong with me..tell you full my problem.my lat periods was on 14 of december..so after i decided to come off from pill.when my periods stopped after 7 days was bleeding again for 4 days.all that time till 4 of january i had intercoure.,no protection.and every 3 days after..my periods suppose to start on 11..so it still didnt.i did a test (first response) before 3 days my periods suppose to start and after (cheap one)on first missing day.all was negative.and last week i got swab result i had bacterial infection.i didnt have any symptoms,only white thick discharge..but got course of antibiotics..but i still have them discharges.so i know some woman could have them when they are pregnant.before i suppose to have periods i had a period like pain and backache.now i just feel cramping only from right side and in the middle of my belly..sometimes i feel very down of my belly like somebody inside me touching with the needle.what do you think girls am i pregnant???and why i feel this strange crampings?and if im not pregnant why i dont have periods?i dont have pregnancy symptoms apart that i started at a lot and always hungry and my stomach always feels empty.im scared if im not pregnant it could be something serious with me.Thank you very much for any advice..xx

Im looking for a reaction. This is really how i live my life. here it goes. I take out credit card debt, with no intention of paying it back. I change my number and move alot to avoid collectors. Ive written a few bad checks which Certigy covered and i didnt pay them back either. I over draw banks using my atm card, and dont pay that back either. I owe over 12,000 and have no intention of ever paying. When i got sued, i quit my job so they couldnt garnish my wages. Everything I own and use is in my fiances name so that nothing can be frozen or taken from me. I collect UI and food stamps, yet have a brand new car! I also have 2 blackberries and cable tv. I NEVER intended on ever paying back the debts I accrue, and i continue to take out new debt. I sell things on craigslist that are broken or dont work, and meet them in a secluded area so they dont know where i live. afterward, i change my phone number. Before i got my new car, i had a piece of crap old buick. when i would park next to snobs (read: people who are more successful than myself) i would purposely open the door so hard, it would dent their car. I also used to drive without insurance, and would purposely cause accidents just to see if they would try to sue me. I love causing wrongdoing to people and never plan to stop. Even though i have taken out several credit cards and never paid a cent, for some reason they continue to approve me for high limits. My credit score is a 675. I keep getting approved because each time a ding hits my score, i claim ID theft. Most of the time, it gets removed and im in the clear. So america, i want the juice! tell me what you think of me!

What is in the minds of Pedestrian and bicycle operators concerning thier safety concerns?

I have been Driving for almost 47 years of my life and hold a cl A drivers license and In the past ten years in my state they have added bicycle lanes to our streets and here of late it seems that people who ride bikes or walk along the highway have no concern for their safety when crossing the street. Just the other day a man walked out in front of four lanes of traffic I was in the far left lane of this one way street and other large cars were to the right of me. All of a sudden the car just in front of me doing 45 miles per hour (Speed Limit is 50 mph) slammed on his brakes then in the next lane the next car did the same thing and finally I had to do the same as a idiot walked threw traffic at no cross walk not looking up or around to see if traffic was coming or not. If I had not slammed on the brakes I would of hit him as it were I was just a few inches from him as he walked by all the cars were honking their horns at this guy and scared the crap out of me. He did not look up even at me even as close as I came to hitting him. Now I don't understand this type of behavior he was a young kid in his teens with a hood on his head. The next thing Is people walking into the street not paying attention to traffic lights or obeying traffic signs. I was driving down the street when a kid was going the wrong way with parked cars on the side of the road blocking my view of this bicyclist who came flying into my lane at a stop light I had the right of way and was going below the speed limit. He darted right out in front of me hands off his steering wheel and I almost hit min because he ran the red light and I could not see him and if I had been looking the Other way I would of killed him because of the size of my truck. My question is Are not kids taught safety riding their bike's anymore? are they not taught pedestrian safety anymore in schools? or parents not teaching them? And this year alone we have had ten by-cyclist killed involved in car truck related crashes. If they don't obey the law in some cases it's almost impossible to avoid hitting someone on a bike. Last year three cyclist were killed as they were riding side by side in a group and all of them were killed running a red light and a semi truck hit them. Can anyone tell me what is happening to our young people don't they know a car at an average weight of 3500 pounds traveling at 35 MPH will kill them before they can stop? And it seems the more bicycle lanes they add the worse it gets. Concerned Ryan Howard owner?

I am concerned that his strikeout ratio is not going to make him a rich mans adam dunn, i am worried it is going to make him adam dunn. I have him in a league as well and while i dont care about his strikeouts, i do care that unlike dunn, he doesnt draw many walks(dunn leads the national league in walks) so he is just kind of swinging wildly at the plate right now. He has already hit more homers this year in april than he did last year, but the average is way down. I expect by seasons end a .260 average and 45 homers with about 110-120 rbi still, but those are way to close to adam dunns stats. Howard did hit .313 two years ago, but otherwise has had seasons of .288 .282 (few at bats rookie year) and .268 last year. I do have a bad feeling Howard is headed for a Richie son type batting average year though. I partnered Howard with Miguel Cabrera in my draft to balance the batting average problem but strangely enough, its my other players who have been picking up my batting average slack (Chipper, Markasis, Ibanez and Pedroia) that Cabrera hasn't picked up yet. By patient with Howard though, he still will perform in two categories for you.

My throat's been sore on and off for the past few days, but this morning i woke up with an un bearable sore throat, I gargled salt water and took a few throat lozenges and fell back asleep. Throughout the day it has still been pretty sore, and i periodically lose my voice completely. Sometimes it starts to feel okay, but i get up to do something and it hits again. It's like a burning feeling, and it feels like its swollen and its pretty hard to swallow solid food, i can tell there's phlegm there. I'm also coughing a fair bit, but it's a dry cough. I checked out my tonsils, and as of about 7 hours ago, my right one was really red and swollen, but i didn't notice any white spots. Does anybody have any idea of what this could be?
